Learning Dutch
The experience of most foreigners shows that learning the Dutch language and culture isn't that easy. In general Dutch people are so proud of their command of foreign languages that they do not want to speak Dutch with you. Trying to learn the basics of the Dutch language, because you are going to live & work in The Netherlands, without understanding the Dutch communication, business and negotiation culture can be very frustrating too.

Through JoHo-RTI (Royal Tropical Institute) language and culture courses you will follow a training that teaches you both Dutch and Dutch culture: group training or individually at various levels. This training is targetted at people who have recently come to live in The Netherlands and need the language both at work and in their private lives. Courses can be combined with country specific briefings, a business culture training programme or with a specific training 'Understanding the Dutch'.
